Jobo Clips

Jobo ClipsWhen I first started developing large format film, my buddy and all around good guy Michael, told me to get these Jobo clips. They are expensive but he told me they were worth every penny.

After a year of using binder clips in a makeshift kinda way, I finally listened to what he had to say and bought some. I used them for the first time tonight and he was, as usual, correct in his assessment. Worth every penny.

Developing 4x5 Film

Michael GordonMy friend, and the person who convinced me to give large format photography a try, has produced an informative video on developing large format film.  Michael is not only a wonderful photographer, he's a talented teacher as well .

If you've ever wanted to know how easy it is to develop large format film then you'll want to watch this video.  I use a similar method but with different chemistry and a different drum.  It's a really informative video and Michael has done a great job in producing it and providing it to the photographic community.  Well done Michael!

I can also attest to the film cabinet Michael shows in the video.  His extremely useful idea has been a godsend in getting the film dry spot free.  And it's economical as well!
