Kentucky
Saturday, October 24, 2009 The trip to Kentucky yielded some images I'm fond of. They won't make any sort of gallery but will serve as a memory and might end up in a Blurb book. I'm not sure right now.
But I've taken to pointing the camera out the window, put on a density filter to get a slow shutter speed and see what happens. Most of the time they are crap, especially when I have Tri-X in the camera. Unless there is a graphical element to them they tend to be rather dull and boring. Some might say they are all dull and boring but I'll leave it to you to decide.

The barns in the rural areas of Kentucky are closer to the road and more accessible than they are here in California. At least in the density that is Southern California where I spend most of my time hunting for photographs. It was overcast with one days exception and so I tried to see what I could find. This is what I came up with since my other ideas didn't pan out.
But I really need to get more people in these images. My plan for the week was a story that will take some time to build. I think I can do the story in both California and Kentucky, but I'm really struggling with the access I want, and need, to make it work. I don't have the experience to deftly make it through the process and it will be largely trial and error.
